The first round of the Economics Olympiad 2024 is now over.
The 45-minute online exam was open from 18 March to 1 April 2024. The results have been sent to the students by email. If you have registered as a teacher, you can use your personal link to check your students' results.

Why should I sign up my students to participate?

What's my task?
You are responsible for motivating the students to participate.
You initiate the first exam. That is very simple – students can participate in class or as homework. The exam takes 45 minutes and can be solved online.
Which level is required to participate in the economics olympiad?
The Olympiad is open to everyone who enjoys economics.
How can I prepare my students for the competition?
No preparation is necessary for the Online Exam.

How do I sign up?
You register your class online on the exam platform. You will receive a personalised link you can share with your students.
Your students register themselves and solve the exam online.
You can use the results link to see which of your students have registered so far.
After the end of the exam period, you can view your students' results via the same link.

What are the requirements for participants?
Students must either be enrolled at a Swiss or Liechtenstein school, have their principal residence in Switzerland or be Swiss citizens.
Students should not be enrolled at university or a university of applied sciences and must have been working toward receiving a highschool diploma or a similar degree as of December 1st, 2023.
The students must be younger than 20 years old as of June 30th, 2024.
How much does it cost to participate?
Participation is free of charge for the entire programme.
Are there other Science Olympiads?
Yes, there are nine more Science Olympiads in the following subjects: biology, chemistry, geography, informatics, linguistics, mathematics, philosophy, physics and robotics.
