Sie sind noch keine 20 Jahre alt und wissen schon, welche Investition sich lohnt oder wie man eine Immobilienkrise löst: An der 7. Internationalen Wirtschafts-Olympiade in Hongkong (22. bis 31. Juli) stellten Jugendliche aus 52 Ländern und Regionen ihr Wirtschafts-Wissen unter Beweis.

Nächster Halt: Hongkong! Am 3. Mai 2024 fand das Finale der Schweizer Wirtschafts- Olympiade statt. Elf Jugendliche kämpften im UBS Konferenzzentrum Grünenhof in Zürich um den Sieg. Dabei durften sie sich in verschiedenen Disziplinen der Wirtschaft messen.

Mauro Baumann hat dieses Jahr für seine Teilnahme in Philosophie und Wirtschafts den Preis für die beste interdisziplinäre Leistung gewonnen - als Berufsschüler. Er erzählt, was Lehrlinge von der Teilnahme an den Wissenschafts-Olympiaden abhält und welche Veränderungen hilfreich wären.
