The Economics Olympiad is Switzerland’s national competition for talented young people in economics, finance and entrepreneurship. Founded in 2018 as a pilot project by Young Enterprise Switzerland (YES) and Science Olympiad, it began with a simple mission: to give curious, driven students a platform to explore economic thinking at the highest level.

Since then, the program has grown into a multi-stage national competition that reaches hundreds of students across the country every year. Through challenging exams, interactive workshops and participation in the International Economics Olympiad, we support motivated young thinkers in developing practical skills and a deeper understanding of how our world works.
